As the American economy begins to pick itself back up again, investors are searching for new trending markets to finance. As businesses begin to start popping back up in the United States, investors have been searching for new and growing industries as investment choices. There is a wide range of industries that investors have been financing in the 2017 year. In this article we will be going over four of the fastest growing markets in the United States, and what makes these markets appealing to investors.
Information Technology Security
While this industry is more obvious than the others, it should be mentioned simply because of the growth the IT world has seen in the last year. More than ever, security at an enterprise level is paramount. Every year, new types of malware are developed. These newer types of malware require up to date security from IT professionals, putting a systems security administrator at a premium. Private IT contractors saw an 18 percent growth last year in their industries overall value, which makes IT still one of the fastest growing and lucrative industries in the United States.
Drug Rehabilitation Centers

Investors looking to help fund noble enterprise should consider number two on our list: drug rehabilitation centers. Finding markets for investment can be difficult if the goal is to back something humanitarian, but if investors take a quick look at the number of rehab centers they would find a booming industry. The state of Georgia alone has a rapidly growing drug treatment industry, with Georgia Drug Detox center locations across 13 regions with more on the way. The need for these facilities is only expected to increase and, unfortunately, drug and alcohol abuse is on the rise. Investors have a great opportunity to help people and make a hefty return at the same time.

Construction
As the economy has returned to strength, the United States has seen an increase in the number of construction projects started by both the public and private sectors. This increase in has seen any industry related to construction becoming much more valuable. In fact, seven out of the top ten fastest growing industries, according to Forbes magazine, are related to construction. Out of all these fast-expanding industries, finishing metals and concrete have increased the most. Investing in a specialized construction company is an excellent way to build wealth with your existing capital.
Technology Firms
In 2017, Technology Firms have taken the forefront of public interest. Companies like Tesla, Apple, and Amazon, have begun to captivate the American public with innovation, causing a plethora of tech startups to try and capitalize on the emerging market. While not immune to dips and drops on the market, technology firms are one of the fastest expanding industries in the United States, simply because of America’s need for newer technology. This desire is not expected to go away anytime soon. The number of tech startups has not decreased from 2016, leaving investors open with many options for funding. The technology field, if trends continue into 2018, will be sure to still be one of the most lucrative ways to invest money.

Out of the four examples listed here, which are listed in no particular order, investors are sure to find an industry to further research for investment purposes. The key things investors should look for in an industry are growth, accessibility, and sustainability. The four industries that we listed above meet all three of these criteria.
